Privacy Policy
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]. This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], handles information when you use elevatr.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, elevatr requests only basic OpenID Connect profile scopes: your verified name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information to create or link your elevatr account, show your account identity, protect access, and prevent duplicate workspaces. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, calendar, or bank accounts.
Budgeting data we store and why
We store the budgeting information you choose to enter or approve, such as your categories, transactions, budgets, savings goals, account settings, Pro planning workspace, and subscription status. We use it to operate your personal workspace, calculate budgeting views, apply your plan limits, and provide features you ask us to provide.
Statement and camera source files are processed locally for review when that feature is available. Only the transaction rows you approve are saved to your workspace; raw source files and unapproved source text are not retained as budgeting records.
First-party telemetry and AI insights
elevatr uses privacy-minimized first-party telemetry to understand web visits, installs, and sign-ins. It uses a pseudonymous installation identifier and limited event metadata; it is not used to build advertising profiles or sell personal data.
If you use an AI feature, elevatr sends only the minimized information needed for that request. Monthly AI Insights use monthly totals and category aggregates rather than statement files or transaction notes. An insight you choose to create may be stored in your workspace so you can view it later.
Retention, export, and deletion
We retain your account and workspace data while your account remains active, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a security, billing, or legal issue. You can download your budgeting data in JSON and CSV from Settings.
You can request self-service account deletion from Settings by completing the typed confirmation. Deletion removes your workspace data and active sessions for that account. If you have an active paid subscription, we first request cancellation for the end of the current paid period. Aggregated or legally required records may be retained only where necessary and are not used to recreate your workspace.
Cookies, local storage, and payments
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect sign-in requests. We may use local or secure device storage for preferences, privacy-minimized telemetry, and offline/PWA behavior. You can control browser storage through your browser settings, although some features may stop working.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. elevatr does not store full payment-card details. The payment provider is selected and configured separately; its own privacy terms apply to payment processing.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Settings provides export and deletion controls; for other privacy requests, contact us at support@elevatr.pro.
Questions or complaints may be sent to support@elevatr.pro. The governing jurisdiction for this Policy is [GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION].
